Oscar Wilde's Conversion

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercies last forever.

The most memorable homosexual to 'come out' and be open, the married man whose proclivities developed in to an attraction to teenage boys, the man who was eventually convicted and sentenced to 2 years' hard labour for illegal activities with those boys, that man repented and died a Christian.

Not just him, but a number of his former lovers and the man who hounded him and led to his arrest.

Andrew McCracken's essay is immensely readable and the content will lift your spirits. He does not judge but he does not assume an 'anything goes between consenting adults' attitude either.

Oscar Wilde, rest in peace.
